Environmental sustainability and cleaning sustainably is a core component of Broadscope’s organisational mission and operational planning. The impact of Broadscope’s cleaning operations upon the environment can include air quality, waste, water use, noise pollution, and impacts on Flora and Fauna. All aspects of Broadscope’s cleaning operations have identified these areas that may impact upon the natural and social environment.
Broadscope’s cleaning management understand the day-to day activities that will affect the environment both directly and indirectly. Through planning and the adoption of sustainable practices where possible, we aim to protect and improve the environment. Throughout our operational activities, we always work to integrate environmental considerations into our management decisions and adopt environmentally alternatives where possible.
Our implementation of sustainability measures is documented and monitored through any business planning process and the strategic environmental management plan specific to the client and contract. These control measures are applied and incorporated as appropriate into all pre-start risk assessment SWMS process.
The effectiveness of control measures are subject to review through our scheduled internal auditing process, and the aspects and impacts register is subject to ongoing and scheduled reviews to ensure that any new or introduced environmental impacts are progressively identified and controlled.
There are many innovative techniques and products that Broadscope Facilities Services will employ on our cleaning services contracts that will bring large scale improvements in environmental sustainability.
